This week has been a doozy, y’all!

The other cats never cared about the treat jar, so it’s a fitting and pretty cute solution. And I put it next to the push up treats Leo and Charlie enjoy.

Some highlights: he loved to hog my light therapy lamp, hated it when I tried to make the bed, loved treats and presents, was always ready to help with a craft project, obsessed with sunbeams, enjoyed boxes, loved to help us work from home, and, overall, took care of us as much as we took care of him.

He constantly watched out for us. From guarding the bathroom door and yelling at any other cats that wanted to come in to literally tucking us in at night? He was a natural caregiver. 🥺 We are already rather lost without him.

Monday! We did the 3-hour super tour of Paisley Pa Monday! We did the 3-hour super tour of Paisley Park. This was the only part of the trip I planned. Dale loved Prince and so going on this tour was an early bday present. They don’t allow photos inside, so I swiped a couple from the Internet. The tour was good, but maybe the highlight was the time you get to spend in Prince’s personal studio. I don’t have the pics downloaded yet but you get to take photos with one of his guitars in the studio and we got to play ping pong 🏓 on Prince’s table inside his own studio. That was a major highlight to me.

We also stopped off at the sculpture garden on our way to the airport.

And that concludes my scrapbooking for this holiday. 🤗
On Sunday, we went to Betty Danger’s for brunch On Sunday, we went to Betty Danger’s for brunch where we also rode a Ferris wheel and played mini golf. We also visited a tiki bar, went to Mall of America for ice cream, and ended the day at a waterfall.

And did I mention they surprised me by wearing t-shirts with my high school graduation photo on them? All day. 🫣
Had an intense weekend full of surprises and delig Had an intense weekend full of surprises and delightful reunions…

Arrived for a shared birthday weekend with Dale only to be surprised by my friend Heather from Florida waiting for us at the airport! But that was only the first of many surprises. So, technically I hate to be surprised but I made many exceptions this weekend.

We stayed at the adorable Graduate Minneapolis, stopped at Prince’s house in Purple Rain, and ate our dinner in a fancy restaurant (Prince shout-out).

On Saturday, we became junior park rangers 😆, went to some fun and weird thrift stores, visited the roadside attraction the House of Balls, and went to a second fancy restaurant where Kristen came and surprised me to join us for dinner and a show (another surprise)!

Shoutout to Kristen for masterminding most of the trip, according to Dale. 🥰

Learned a lot about myself this weekend including that I don’t hate actually all surprises 😆 and I’m not nearly as observant as I like to think I am! And that wasn’t all because stupid Instagram won’t let me post more than 10 snaps.
